Are you unsure what unit that you need to order?
I am happy to stop by and measure and inspect your kitchen or bar area at no cost to you unlike the big box stores. I do charge a $50 fee that I will gladly apply 100% to the cost of your project should you hire me. Think of it as a deposit on my labor. This is especially handy for built-in or drawer installations as cabinet modification is almost always necessary and extra parts or materials usually need to be ordered ahead of time to properly match the existing cabinetry.

*Please Note: Install price may change depending on your installation. All installations are for the replacement of an existing similar unit of the same size or properly prepped cabinet with a functional electrical receptacle. New construction installations are not included at the listed pricing. All pricing is estimated based on the actual work performed. Pricing is for labor only, customer is responsible for all material costs.
What My Standard Installation Includes
- Removal of the existing microwave.
- Inspection of the mounting area including the electrical receptacle.
- Assembly and installation of venting or recirculation plates.
- Installation of the new microwave.
- Testing of the unit to ensure proper operation including lighting, carousel, venting, etc. I will also ask you for a mug to heat up water to test basic operation. I do this as a courtesy as I am not qualified to repair or diagnose any faulty units.
- Final adjustment of any trim kits or drawer operations, if applicable.
- Clean up of the job site. The old unit will be placed in a contractor's grade garbage bag near the curb for city pick up. Off-site disposal is available. Any other debris or recycling material will be placed in the appropriate trash or recycling bins.
- One year warranty on all labor. Material warranted according to the manufacturer.
Services That May Incur an Additional Charge
- Upon removal of the existing unit, wall or cabinet damage (depending on the mounting type) may be present from the existing installation hardware that the new installation may not cover. Any repairs would be performed at an additional fee.
- Furniture/ object moving. Price $15 per 15 minutes of labor.
- I will pick up and deliver a single unit from a local supplier (approx. 10-minute drive) for $50. Additional units, double ovens, or additional drive time will be extra.
- Pricing is based on existing wiring that is properly rated and functioning. New circuits or additional wiring will be extra. Price TBD.

- Electrical troubleshooting of existing wiring. Price is $30 per 30 minutes of labor.
- Any additional labor not listed or unforeseen. Price is $30 per 30 minutes of labor.
- In the event that there are missing or damaged parts, any time spent shopping or repairing will be billed at $30 per 30 minutes. If for any reason the total labor completed for the visit is less than my $100 minimum (due to no fault of my own), an adjusted trip charge will be assessed to cover my minimum.
- Should I need to leave the site for any unforeseen project related reason, my time is billed at $30 per every 30 minutes.
