Installation cost is based on exterior entry door size

***Home Depot's current advertised installation cost starts at $178 each with their extras being much higher than mine***

Standard Installations:

• Single Storm Door installations (36x80/ 32x80/ 30x80) .....$150 per door
• Sidelite Storm installation (any width @ 80 inch high) .....$50 each

• Single Storm Door installations (36x84/ 32x84/ 30x84) ....$175 per door
• Sidelite Storm installation (any width @ 84 inch high) .....$75 each

• Single Storm Door installations (36x96/ 32x96/ 30x96) ....$250 per door
• Sidelite Storm installation (any width @ 96 inch high) .....$125 each

• Double Storm Door (French style) installations (64x80) .....$325 per door
• Double Storm Door (French style) installations (72x80) .....$375 per door

• Double Storm Door (French style) installations (64x84) .....$350 per door
• Double Storm Door (French style) installations (72x84) .....$400 per door

• Double Storm Door (French style) installations (64x96) .....$500 per door

• A discount of 10% will be applied to any installation of 3 or more doors.

Are you unsure what size door that you need to order? I am happy to stop by and measure your door(s) and inspect your brick moulding at no cost to you unlike the big box stores. I do charge a $50 fee that I will gladly apply 100% to the cost of your project should you hire me. Think of it as a deposit on my labor. You wont even need to stay home from work as I can do everything from the outside.

*Please Note: Install price may change depending on your installation. All installations are for standard sizes only. Suitable brick moulding must be present and installed properly or replacement will be required. All pricing is estimated based on the actual work performed. Pricing is for labor only, customer is responsible for all material costs.

What My Standard Installation Includes

• Unpacking and inspection of the new door to verify that all parts are present and that everything appears to be in good working condition. 
• Removal of the existing storm door.
• Inspection and caulking (if needed) of existing brick moulding trim.
• Assembly of the door according to the manufacturer’s instructions. 
• Installation of the door, including pre-drilled lock or handle set, closure piston(s), and wind strap or safety chain.
• Final adjustment of the closing speed and force to ensure proper opertaion.
• Cleanup of the job site with on site disposal. The old door will be left near trash bin or by the curb for city pick up. Cardboad packaging and other debris will be placed in appropriate bins or trash bags. 
• One year warranty on all labor. Material warranted according to the manufacturer.
  

Services That May Incur an Additional Charge

• The brick moulding, which is the exterior entry door trim that the storm door directly attaches, is crucial to the installation and operation of your new storm door, its energy efficiency, and weather sealing. If the trim is damaged, I do not offer nor recommend repairng a piece of trim, but rather the entire trim set. This is also a good time to add spray foam insulation which can save you a lot of money in energy savings by eliminating any drafts from an improperly installed entry door. Should you have questions about the condition of your brick moulding trim, please contact me directly. 
• Should I need to leave the site for any unforeseen project related reason, my time is billed at $30 per every 30 minutes.

How to Prepare for My Visit

• Ensure the work area is accessible and clear of all debris.
• An adult 18 or older with authority to make decisions must be present through the entire installation.  If you no one will be available, please contact me as I will be happy to reschedule.
• If you are considering painting your door or trim, I would recommend painting after the door is installed but painting ahead of time is acceptable.
• If your door is being delivered by someone other than me, please do not schedule the installation for the day of it's scheduled delivery. Should the delivery not arrive when expected, please try to contact me to reschedule at least 24 hours prior to our appointment or by the evening before. You may wish to open the box and do your own inventory/assessment of the parts to save on any unforeseen problems or additional expenses.
• Please keep pets and children clear of the job site.  I cannot be responsible for their safety.
• If you have any questions at all, please contact me directly. Also, I am happy to assist with the selection of your new door as I will give you my honest opinion unlike that salesperson who is commison based or has no experience in the installation of these doors.
