Pricing Guide

Installation cost is based on the replacement of an existing floor mounted toilet with functional plumbing

***Lowe's current advertised installation cost starts at $353 each***

No permits are needed in Michigan for this type of installation.

Standard Installation:

• Standard Replacement Toilet Installation .....$175 each

Extras:

• Bidet attachment installation ..... starting at $30
• Bidet electrical receptacle (new installation) .....starting at $150
• Shut off valve replacement ..... starting at $50
• Toilet flange repair ..... starting at $75
• Pick up and delivery from local supplier .....$25 each
• Removal and off site disposal $50
• A discount of 10% will be applied to any installation of 3 or more toilets.

All installations are for the replacement of an existing floor mounted toilet with functional plumbing, wall mounted or new construction installations are not included. All pricing is estimated based on the actual work performed. Pricing is for labor only, customer is responsible for all material costs.

What My Standard Installation Includes

• Removal of the existing toilet.
• Inspection of the plumbing including the shut off valve and flange.
• Assembly and installation of the new toilet according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Caulking and installation of a new wax ring and water supply line.
• Testing of the toilet to ensure proper operation.
• Final adjustment of the fill valve inside the tank.
• Cleanup of the job site. The old toilet will be placed in a contractor's grade garbage bag near the curb for city pick up. Off-site disposal is available. 
• One year warranty on all labor. Material warranted according to the manufacturer.
  

Services That May Incur an Additional Charge

• Upon removal of the existing toilet, the flange or shut off valve may need replacement. Both are crucial to the installation and could cause property damage if not in proper working condition. I will not warranty the installation if either is not in serviceable condition.
• If the drain is not flowing properly, it may require snaking. I do not offer this type of service; snaking can be performed after the installation is completed by a qualified specialist.
• Should I need to leave the site for any unforeseen project related reason, my time is billed at $30 per every 30 minutes.

How to Prepare for My Visit

• Ensure the work area is accessible and clear of all debris. Any personal objects should be removed from the area.
• Existing toilet should be clean and in a sanitary condition or a cleaning fee of $25 will apply.
• An adult 18 or older with authority to make decisions must be present through the entire installation.  If you no one will be available, please contact me as I will be happy to reschedule.
• If you have recently painted your bathroom walls, now is a good time to have paint on hand for me and I would be happy to quickly paint the area of the wall where you may have missed due to the tank at no additional cost.
• Ensure that no loose items are in stairwells or hallways near the installation location.
• Please keep pets and children clear of the job site area.  I cannot be responsible for their safety.
• If you have any questions at all, please contact me directly. Also, I am happy to assist with the selection of your new toilet as I will give you my honest opinion unlike that salesperson who is commission based or has no experience in the installation and maintenance of these toilets.
