Installation cost is based on television size & a flat drywall surface

- Dismounting of existing TV during installation (up to 64") .....$25 each
- Dismounting of existing TV during installation (65" and above) .....$50 each (2 person installation) (with your assistance)

Please note that not all surfaces are suitable to withstand the weight of a mounted TV, even with properly weight-rated wall anchors, as there will always be some flexing and damage may occur to the wall surface. I will install mounts on most surfaces per request, but will not be responsible for any installation damage, cracking or other unexpected problems during or after the installation on any surface that isn't drywall, wood, or plaster.

- A discount of 10% will be applied to any installation of 2 or more TVs.
Moving?
I can tailor make a complete relocation dismounting package based on your specific needs.
Out of area moving- If you are moving outside of my service area (Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, and Livingston counties) I offer a relocation dismounting package that includes dismounting of the TV and removal of the mount, one coat of drywall mud or spackle, & packaging of the TV for shipment (in customer supplied box and packing material- original box or U-Haul type TV box).

Local area moving- If you are moving within my service area (Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, and Livingston counties) I offer a relocation package that includes dismounting of the TV and removal of the mount, one coat of drywall mud or spackle, packaging of the TV for shipment (in customer supplied box and packing material- original box or U-Haul type TV box), and then I can perform same day reinstallation at your new home or whenever you are ready. (I can transport the TV or install outside my service area for an additional fee.)

*Please Note: Install price may change depending on your installation. All pricing is estimated based on the actual work performed. Pricing is for labor only, customer is responsible for all material costs, TV, and appropriate mount with necessary hardware.
What My Standard Installation Includes
- Unpacking and inspection of the new mount & TV to verify that all parts are present and that they are compatible with each other and the type of wall surface.
- Installation of the mounting brackets to the rear of the TV.
- Installation of the mount to the wall with the provided appropriate hardware based on the type of mounting surface.
- Final mounting and adjust of the TV to the wall mount according to the manufacturers instructions.
- Attachment of any existing device cables to the TV and then neatly dressing them as best as possible if no cord management options are selected.
- Clean up of the job site with on-site disposal. Cardboard packaging and other debris will be placed in appropriate bins or trash bags. I recommend keeping all original packing for potential moving or transportation for in-shop repair.
- One year warranty on all labor. Material warranted according to the manufacturer.
Services That May Incur an Additional Charge
- A trip charge of $50 will be assessed in the event that the mount is not compatible with the TV or not suitable for use in the installation. Please double check with the manufacturers of the TV and mount to make sure of compatibility. This happens more often than you would think.
- Relocation of furniture or other items that may interfere with the installation will be billed at $15/15 min.
- If your installation requires a special drill bit for stone or tile and it is not included with the mount, a fee covering the time and cost of the drill bit will be assessed. Please check the included parts list of the mount to see if one is included. If not, please let me know ahead of time to avoid any additional fees.
- Should I need to leave the site for any unforeseen project related reason, my time is billed at $30 per every 30 minutes. This includes missing or inappropriate hardware, please open and inspect the mount to make sure that all parts are present and that no additional hardware is needed for you specific wall type.
How to Prepare for My Visit
- Ensure the work area is accessible and clear of all debris. Please have all items clear of the installation area. Have any loose artwork off of the mounting wall and all items clear from mantles, shelving, or furniture that may interfere with the installation.
- An adult 18 or older with authority to make decisions must be present through the entire installation. If no one will be available, please contact me as I will be happy to reschedule.
- Please have the TV and mount in the room of the installation.
- If your TV or mount is being delivered please do not schedule the installation for the day of its scheduled delivery. Should the delivery not arrive when expected, please try to contact me to reschedule at least 24 hours prior to our appointment or by the evening before. You may wish to open the box and do your own inventory/assessment of the parts to save on any unforeseen problems or additional expenses.
- Please keep pets and children clear of the job site. I cannot be responsible for their supervision or safety.
- If you have any questions at all, please contact me directly. Also, I am happy to assist with the selection of your mount to ensure compatibility.
